Husband and father with over 20 years of experience in talent acquisition, team building, professional development, strategic social media marketing, and company collaboration. Currently serving as Campus and Community Outreach Coordinator at OhioGuidestone, Derek focuses on building meaningful partnerships with universities, creating career pathways for students, and connecting future clinicians to real-world impact in behavioral health. His career includes leading talent teams, developing internship programs, and helping organizations grow by investing in people, with a strong focus on bridging the gap between education and practice. He is passionate about creating opportunities for students and professionals to engage in conversations that matter, while also prioritizing family, personal growth, and a healthier, more intentional life.

Dionna Adie

Dionna Adie, LISW-S, LICDC-CS, CCM, is the Clinical Supervisor in the Adult Counseling department at OhioGuidestone. With over 20 years of leadership experience and 35 years of behavioral health care experience in Community Mental Health, Substance Use Disorders, and Managed Care, Dionna has worked with both adults, families, and youth. She is a graduate of Cleveland State University and Case Western Reserve University, where she earned her bachelor’s and master’s degree in social work. Dionna is a proud member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and strongly believes in advocating for clients and policies that impact the clients she serves. She is passionate about helping the most vulnerable populations and promoting professional growth within her team. Dionna recharges by spending time with her family, friends, and pets, and enjoys being outdoors in nature and in her garden.

Justin Hovorka

Husband and father to a baby girl. Justin Hovorka, MA, QMHS, SWT, Assistant Director of OhioRISE, has been part of the OhioRISE team at OhioGuidestone for going on four years, providing care coordination services to youth and their families.

Justin holds a master's degree in psychology and is currently working on a master's in social work at Case Western Reserve University.

Before joining OhioGuidestone, Justin provided ABA therapy to youth of all ages in school, home, and clinic settings. His current role involves the oversight of ongoing care coordination services, crisis support, and facilitating engagement with other community partners in the behavioral health space.

Outside of work, his passions revolve around music and sports. Travelling, especially out west, is where he has some of his best memories and plans to make more with his family.

Katy Baumbach

Katy Baumbach is the Director of Communications and Marketing at OhioGuidestone. She has over 20 years of experience in brand management, public relations, digital marketing, communications strategy, and graphic design. Katy holds an MBA in Brand Management and Organizational Strategy from the University of Rochester’s Simon School of Business and BA in Economics from Allegheny College. In her spare time, she is a ceramics artist, races sailboats, and coaches youth soccer.

Kristina Ryan

Kristina Ryan, MSW LISW-S, is a Clinical Supervisor with OhioGuidestone. She brings over 12 years of experience in the field of Social Work. The majority of her direct practice experience with clients had a focus on early childhood, serving children from birth to age six and their families. She is a Certified PLAY Project Consultant and a rostered Child-Parent Psychotherapist. Kristina has a passion for sensory-inclusive interventions, the long-term impact of pre-verbal trauma on brain development, and the role of healthy co-regulatory relationships during the early years of development. In addition to her supervisory work, Kristina is a Clinical Fellow with the Institute of Family & Community Impact. Outside of her professional role, she enjoys sourdough baking and is actively involved in philanthropic efforts that support the professional growth and educational advancement of women.

Nicole Klimas-Morrison

Nicole Klimas-Morrison, MSW, LISW-S, CDCA, is the Regional Director of Operations at OhioGuidestone. She has 15 years of experience as a social worker. She has experience working in quality assurance, with the past 10 years of her career focused specifically on behavioral health. Currently, she oversees behavioral health programming across Lorain, Erie, and Huron counties, with an emphasis on expanding access to quality care and strengthening community-based services. Nicole is passionate about community mental health and building meaningful connections through collaboration and partnership. Outside of work, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family. She loves cooking, reading, being outside, and taking on house projects.
