Catherine Crawford, MA, LPCC-S, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Linehan Board of Certification, Certified Clinician™, and a clinical supervisor at OhioGuidestone. She has dedicated her time to making comprehensive DBT treatment more accessible for community behavioral health settings. Catherine has developed and implemented curricula and training on various behavioral health topics. She has worked on projects for system improvement work for hospitals, developmental disability centers, and spiritual community advancement. Never knowing a stranger, she is an authentic leader known for her passion, enthusiasm, and sense of humor. She loves playing with her twin daughters, watching Dexter with her husband, spending every morning on a call with her best friend, and building close relationships with her colleagues. She values accountability and spirituality, and she enjoys plants, art, music, creating, mindfulness, and being outside on her rollerblades.

Dionna Adie, LISW-S, LICDC-CS, CCM, is the Clinical Supervisor in the Adult Counseling department at OhioGuidestone. With over 20 years of leadership experience and 35 years of behavioral health care experience in Community Mental Health, Substance Use Disorders, and Managed Care, Dionna has worked with both adults, families, and youth. She is a graduate of Cleveland State University and Case Western Reserve University, where she earned her bachelor’s and master’s degree in social work. Dionna is a proud member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and strongly believes in advocating for clients and policies that impact the clients she serves. She is passionate about helping the most vulnerable populations and promoting professional growth within her team. Dionna recharges by spending time with her family, friends, and pets, and enjoys being outdoors in nature and in her garden.

Emilene Badalamenti, MSW, LISW-S, is a Clinical Supervisor of the Juvenile Justice department in Cuyahoga County at OhioGuidestone. She has been in the social work field for 12 years and became a Social Worker upon graduating from Cleveland State University. She joined OhioGuidestone as a BSW intern with a passion for juvenile justice-involved youth, working to make a difference in a system where individuals are up against many odds. After receiving her LSW when her undergrad program concluded, she began her role as a therapist with the Juvenile Justice program, where she earned her Master's of Social Work from the University of Denver. During this internship, she developed a passion for working with youth, specifically youth with problematic sexual behaviors. Outside of work, Emilene enjoys being at home with her nuclear family as well as her extended family, who are always together. This helps refill her cup so she can keep pouring into this field. 

Husband and father to a baby girl. Justin Hovorka, MA, QMHS, SWT, Assistant Director of OhioRISE, has been part of the OhioRISE team at OhioGuidestone for going on four years, providing care coordination services to youth and their families.

Justin holds a master's degree in psychology and is currently working on a master's in social work at Case Western Reserve University.

Before joining OhioGuidestone, Justin provided ABA therapy to youth of all ages in school, home, and clinic settings. His current role involves the oversight of ongoing care coordination services, crisis support, and facilitating engagement with other community partners in the behavioral health space.

Outside of work, his passions revolve around music and sports. Travelling, especially out west, is where he has some of his best memories and plans to make more with his family. 

Dr. Kathleen Kern is Chief Clinical Officer at OhioGuidestone with expertise in clinical psychology and evidence‑based assessment and treatment. Kathleen is committed to advancing trauma‑informed, whole‑person care. 

She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Toledo and previously served as an Executive Director of a Mental Health Board and in executive roles across community mental health, residential treatment, and psychiatric hospital care.  

Kathleen lives in Rocky River and enjoys outdoor adventures with family and friends. One of those adventures is skydiving, which she and her husband of 24 years did on their first date together.  

Katy Baumbach is the Director of Communications and Marketing at OhioGuidestone. She has over 20 years of experience in brand management, public relations, digital marketing, communications strategy, and graphic design. Katy holds an MBA in Brand Management and Organizational Strategy from the University of Rochester’s Simon School of Business and BA in Economics from Allegheny College. In her spare time, she is a ceramics artist, races sailboats, and coaches youth soccer.

Kaylin Schaefer, MSW, LISW-S, is a Youth Program Director at OhioGuidestone with more than 17 years of experience in community-based behavioral health. She specializes in youth behavioral health, school and community-based services, and developing programs that improve access to high-quality mental health care for children, adolescents, and families. Kaylin currently oversees youth behavioral health programming across Cuyahoga County and is passionate about building strong systems of care and supporting positive outcomes for youth. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, practicing yoga, and traveling.

Kristina Ryan, MSW LISW-S, is a Clinical Supervisor with OhioGuidestone. She brings over 12 years of experience in the field of Social Work. The majority of her direct practice experience with clients had a focus on early childhood, serving children from birth to age six and their families. She is a Certified PLAY Project Consultant and a rostered Child-Parent Psychotherapist. Kristina has a passion for sensory-inclusive interventions, the long-term impact of pre-verbal trauma on brain development, and the role of healthy co-regulatory relationships during the early years of development. In addition to her supervisory work, Kristina is a Clinical Fellow with the Institute of Family & Community Impact. Outside of her professional role, she enjoys sourdough baking and is actively involved in philanthropic efforts that support the professional growth and educational advancement of women.

Nicole Klimas-Morrison, MSW, LISW-S, CDCA, is the Regional Director of Operations at OhioGuidestone. She has 15 years of experience as a social worker. She has experience working in quality assurance, with the past 10 years of her career focused specifically on behavioral health. Currently, she oversees behavioral health programming across Lorain, Erie, and Huron counties, with an emphasis on expanding access to quality care and strengthening community-based services. Nicole is passionate about community mental health and building meaningful connections through collaboration and partnership. Outside of work, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family. She loves cooking, reading, being outside, and taking on house projects.

Shane Bakovich, LPCC-S, is a Clinical Supervisor dedicated to advancing trauma-informed, equitable mental health care. He currently oversees a Child Advocacy Center and Youth Resiliency Center and has extensive experience across intensive in-home therapy, outpatient, residential, group, and crisis services.

Shane is passionate about expanding access to high-quality behavioral health care, strengthening community-based services, and supporting individuals and families impacted by trauma. His professional interests include suicide prevention, resiliency, trauma recovery, and advocating for diverse and historically underserved communities, including the LGBTQ+ community and racially and ethnically diverse populations. Through his clinical work, leadership, and community engagement, Shane is committed to fostering healing, resilience, and meaningful systems change.
